Area Sales Manager Home based covering East Anglia Region

We have an exciting opportunity for a conscientious Area Sales Manager - East Anglia to join our team at Ecophon, this role is covering East Anglia Region. You will develop and implement a targeted sales plan for the agreed geographical area to deliver increased market share and a preferential product mix at best possible price through team work and customer relationship building across channels, functions, the wider business and active engagement with core trade customers.
The Saint-Gobain Ecophon UK & Ireland is a successful collaborative team of specialist acoustic experts, resulting in the supply and delivery of innovative acoustic ceilings and wall solutions to the construction market.
SG Ecophon also manufactures and markets acoustic products and systems that contribute to a good working environment by enhancing peoples' wellbeing and performance. Our promise "A sound effect on people" is the core backbone of everything we do.
Ecophon has business units in 14 countries, delegations in another 30 countries worldwide, and approximately 800 employees. The head office is located in Hyllinge, just outside Helsingborg, Sweden.
Hours: hours a week, although a level of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business
Create and develop an area sales plan for the agreed geography in line with the regional sales plan.
Creating a clear vision and structure for development of projects and customers which can contribute towards the overall plan objectives
Engage and encourage development
Taking ownership of their individual development plan with the assistance of coaching and mentoring from their line manager and other members of the business if appropriate
Engage with all teams in order to sustainably deliver the objectives of the are plan
Implement the area plan, in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and cross channel colleagues, to deliver the best possible balance of volume, product mix and profitability
Development and create sales opportunities with the implementation of new product area plans, in line with national and regional sales plans
Work closely to support other sales colleagues with regard to technical expertise where appropriate
Be the focal point for the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date data is available and added to the CRM system to make sure all parties can make a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained
Drive a proactive culture of safe working practices and wellbeing across all business activities to ensure that colleagues are engaged by looking after their own safety and the safety of othersWhat we are looking for in an Area Manager (East Anglia)
