This company are looking for a mechanical estimator to join their established business in Berkshire. They are open to looking at junior estimators with 2 years experience all the way up to senior estimators who have been doing it for decades.

Mechanical Estimator - The Role:
This is a hands-on role with a responsibility for the production of mechanical tenders. You will have to breakdown client enquiries, organise or complete the required surveys and prepare detailed Mechanical estimates, tenders and quotations to ensure that opportunities are being accurately estimated competitively, successfully and profitably.
You will also support the Business in client meetings and estimation/tender presentations to help secure tendered opportunities. Using relevant industry experience, you will be expected to help develop and refine the estimation process to improve efficiency, clarity, and accuracy while reducing overall costs.
The role will require experience with mechanical tenders between £10,000 and £4m with the projects spanning the residential, hotel, commercial and pharmaceutical sectors.
Mechanical Estimator - Requirements:
As an estimator you would be expected to have a solid understanding of Mechanical estimating and previous experience in the construction industry, ideally as an estimator in a similar role.
You would also have an established background in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Project & Bid Management allowing you to understand and interpret detailed Technical Works Scope documentation Identify, quantify and mitigate areas of commercial risk.
You will also need the ability to plan workload for yourself with others to ensure delivery to client deadlines.
The work is predominantly in the residential market so you would need to have experience in that sector as well.
The role includes a competitive salary from £40,000 to £65,000 (dependent upon experience) plus health plan, pension and 20 days Hols
