New Opportunity for a Housing Review Officer

£20 an hour
35 hours a week

Here you will be undertaking general duties of Review Officer such as homeless decisions, offers of accommodation, housing register assessments where a review has been requested. You will need to have excellent knowledge and practical applications of the law. You will be working closely with solicitors and other advocates representing clients, you will also be monitoring and preparing reports.

Experience:

Experience of developing and delivering training
Experience in researching, interpreting and explaining complex legislation and policy
Managing staffKnowledge:
Highly detailed knowledge of current and emerging housing legislation and case law related to housing advice issues including private sector landlord and tenant law, security of tenure, homelessness law, housing benefit and other welfare benefit regulations, possession proceedings in the county court including court procedure rules, Community legal Services funding rules
