This is a brand-new role working within a people-centric organisation as an ER Manager in a dynamic and friendly HR team.

You’ll be responsible for the overall delivery of the Group Employee Relations strategy, policies, and processes. You’ll be leading a best-in-class ER service, directly and through leadership of your team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a small team to undertake casework in a range of highly complex, sensitive or contentious employment matters

  • Ensure that any advice given in relation to workforce and organisational redesign is managed sensitively and in line with best practice, company culture, relevant employment legislation

  • Provide HR advice to leaders conducting formal investigations regarding employee relations matters

  • Upskill leaders to ensure employment practice ensuring line managers (at all levels) are equipped to carry out colleague management responsibilities effectively, particularly in the areas of performance, absence and conduct management

  • To build and retain effective relationships with all levels of stakeholders within the business.

  • Maintain full records on employee relations cases and report monthly on these, identifying trends and making recommendations to address these

What You'll Be

  • Experience of Employee Relations and Employment Law
  • Experience managing a small team
  • CIPD Level 5 with progress towards or commitment to study towards CIPD Level 7
  • Currently working in a fast paced, complex organisation would be beneficial
  • Proven leadership experience
