The food industry has remained stable over the last year and is looking to kick on throughout 2021. This opportunity is an Electrical Engineer position with a national food company working in their state-of the-art facility in their experienced maintenance team. The successful candidate will be joining an established and supportive environment where they can develop their professional and personal skills. Based in South Yorkshire, you will be joining a market leading company who are looking for motivated engineers who want to make an impact. You'll have the chance to join a reputable food business in a booming industry who have a successful maintenance team, but that's not all. With chances to develop your skillset through training provided by the company and external courses, you'll be in a great position to develop your whole engineering skillset and have a long-term impact. To be a good fit for this job there are a few things you’ll need. Firstly, you’ll ideally need to be electrically biased and qualified, ideally with experience in the food or FMCG industry. If you have a multi-skilled background then do not rule yourself out either. It is also a major advantage if you are qualified in Electrical engineering with either 17th/18th edition or an apprenticeship. Experience with food industry equipment such as conveyors, packing machines, slicerts and PLCs are a major advantage. However, if you do not meet all of the listed criteria but are looking to expand your skillset then do not rule yourself out.
