Accounts Assistant

£18000.00 - £22000.00 per annum

This position gives the opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a large Automotive and Fleet company that focuses on making sure their employees thrive and succeed within their position.

Accounts Assistant Duties:

  • Take care of all banking activities preparation and process of BACS
  • Maintain analysed cashbook and bank reconciliations daily
  • Assistance in administering ad hoc sales invoices/credits and purchase ledger invoices/credits
  • Allocate cash receipts as well as administration of auction house receipts
  • Collection of amounts receivable (Sales Ledger)
  • Petty cash and preparation of posting journal
  • Assistance to finance department at month end to support reporting of accurate financial information to deadlines
  • General administration in finance department

Accounts Assistant:

  • Have accounts experience in particular cash and bank
  • Industry experience (Desirable)
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate in Excel and Word (Intermediate level)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full Driving Licence (Desirable)
  • Good general standard of education
