Scrum Master London / Basingstoke / Remote £60,000-£65,000 The Role One of the UK’s leading multi-services providers is looking for a Scrum Master to fulfil a critical role in their Digital team. You will be responsible for working with Product Owners and Business Analysts to work between the business, IT and Digital to ensure consistent, quality of delivery of updates to the company’s digital real estate. You will take on the role of driving and leading Agile best practices within digital developments teams as well as insuring delivery against sprint goals and you will be responsible for the day to day oversight for the projects under the direction of projects prioritised for your scrum by the respective product owner. Responsibilities Work with product owners to liaise with product areas to understand and refine business requirements and bring new projects into the scrum backlog Work with Product owner) to educate product areas in Agile methodology Hold regular review sessions with Product owner(s) and senior managers within product areas to explain current work underway, current capacity and upcoming projects due to go live for each area Support and coach the scrum team in agile good practice and ways of working Work with other teams within digital to ensure join up thinking to maximise productivity and embed best practice across the department Facilitate and lead digital scrums in the Digital Delivery team including matrix managing a variety of multi-disciplinary roles including 3rd parties Facilitate scrum events through the sprint cycle Work with the product owner) to review and groom the backlog Maintain and manage productivity monitoring of the scrum team through regular reporting and analysis of team metrics Key Skills & Experience Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team Able to communicate with, influence and engage senior stakeholders across a matrix organisation Demonstrable experience of working with remote teams Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Able to lead, inspire and influence others to achieve success Knowledge and understanding of Consumer Services, Insurance or Financial Services desirable Knowledge of Sitecore desirable Knowledge of Pega desirable Education and Qualifications: Certified Scrum Master * Additional qualifications not required, but will be evaluated based on relevance and merit
