Deputy Care Manager
Permanent (Full time)
We are looking for: An individual who can: • Ensure that the individuals we support are safe and experience a quality service. • Have proven experience of managing a staff team . • Can ensure that staff have been trained and have all the necessary resources to perform in their roles • Can ensure the development of the Service and carry out regular assessments • Support the Service Manager in their day to day running of the service and manage the service in the event of any absences We need you to be resilient, supportive and able to motivate a team. You’ll have a working knowledge of care standards and related legislation and have good report writing skills. You may have a personal connection, a desire to work with or real life experiences working with autistic people. You’ll have experience in a senior support worker role, the desire to progress your career, and if you share our values and are willing to make a difference to the lives of autistic people, we’d love to hear from you. You would also need to be : • Patient, inspiring, caring and sensitive towards the needs of vulnerable people • Good listeners, able to report and record information accurately • Team players, able to work independently with little support as required • Resilient, able to work proactively with challenging behaviour • Willing and able to provide personal care to individuals • Individuals who value diversity, health and safety and are committed to safe working practices You may also have: • A personal connection to autism or a desire to work with people with autism • Real life experience supporting autistic adults or children with autism in a paid or voluntary capacity.
