Davies group are looking to recruit a number of Trainee Technicians to start in May 2021The trainee technician role is an exciting opportunity to begin a rewarding career within the Insurance Services Industry. Full training over a two week period, followed by an additional two weeks of supervised on the job assessment will be provided. The objective is to develop a level of skill and competency to enable the trainee to provide intermediary services to our clients. The quality for the service we provide to our clients is of the utmost importance to us and we expect our trainees to share our passion by providing a quality, timely and professional service to our clients.

Once trained, you will ensure all service standards are met and seek to increase client service and revenue through timely and accurate premium and claims servicing.
Ensure that Corporate compliance standards are adhered to and performance objectives met in accordance with client Accountabilities · Learn to process initial and subsequent premium and claims in accordance with pre-determined departmental deadlines· Learn to identify, and how to resolve issues and potential problems with the client, by referral and guidance from senior colleagues· Learn to handle queries between the client and (re)insurer, whilst operating within departmental procedures and client service standards · Develop relationships with internal and external key contacts and, where appropriate, participate in meetings· Continuously learn and develop relevant technical skills necessary to enhance service and support customer relationships· Continuously learn and gain knowledge of the industry and processes to deepen and improve own technical expertise· Participate in team meetings and activities to share ideas, knowledge and experience.
Maximise opportunities to increase own understanding in order to improve the quality of services delivered to clients· Learn to maintain filing and records in accordance with departmental procedures and best practices· Take responsibility for own development; pro-actively engage in performance development reviews (PDR); identify areas for further training and work with line manager to draft development plans· Develop an understanding of the FCA and/or other regulatory requirements and your responsibilities in complying with the regulations in executing your daily activities· Adhere to the DISSL E&O – what does that stand for? and Compliance standards; the Safety, Health and Environment policy; and departmental procedures, guidelines and business skills and attributes · Has excellent interpersonal skills and is a strong team member· Has good numerical skills and has the ability to question information and solve problems· Is competent with word, excel and technology· Can demonstrate excellent communication skills both, verbal and written · Is highly organised· Is tenacious and resilientEducational / Experience· 5 GCSEs grades A to C, including Maths and English (or equivalent).· Previous office experience is desirable
