Established over 70 years the company are a multimillion-pound market leading organisation that sell a multitude of lab equipment and consumables used in research departments across a wide range of markets and applications. They have experienced huge growth over the last 5 years and are in a position to bolster the sales team by recruiting market specialist. The Role of the Business Development Manager: Joining as the business development manager you will be tasked with selling the companies wide range of laboratory equipment and consumables. This equipment is used by research and development teams so you will need to have a good working knowledge and understanding of this market. You will manage a number of pre-existing accounts as well as looking to attack the market and exploit new opportunities for growth. You will be a scientific market specialist and there is fantastic opportunity to grow within the role and the company. The Candidate for the Business Development Manager: The successful candidate needs to have a background selling products or services in the scientific industry. You need to be autonomous and happy being based from home covering a large territory. You will be a focused and determined sales professional that likes to work with different clients that has a real can-do attitude: You MUST have sales experience within the scientific instrumentation market.
