The Design Technology department consists of a dynamic team where all staff take part in extra-curricular activities. The school would suit someone who wishes to contribute to a collaborative department and fit in with the team ethos. The school performs well academically across all subjects and the Design Technology department benefits from state-of the-art facilities.
This is a permanent position starting in September 2021 and is suitable for both Newly Qualified Teachers and experienced teachers.
You will be joining a well-established department who continually run CPD sessions. These include both subject knowledge seminars and CPD training sessions.

The successful Secondary Design Technology Teacher will:
Be an experienced Design and Technology teacher with great subject knowledge
Be a qualified teacher with QTS
Have experience of teaching the subject in a previous role
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
