Our client, a leading and rapidly expanding property company are looking for a commercially astute Finance Analyst to join the team. This role is a pivotal one for the business and will support the wider Operations team.
Carry out financial and data analysis on the balance sheet.
Monitoring and management of financial results.
Balance sheet analysis and controls.
Supporting analysis for statutory returns and/or report and accounts.
Internal and external audit reports and reviews.
Production of financial reporting MI and commentary.
Gathering, validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Contribute towards a wide variety of projects and initiatives potentially including internal reviews, development initiatives and corporate transactions.
Running and/or contributing to the development of financial models and analytical processes to meet business needs.
Provide analytical support to the Operations team to ensure a high standard of financial controls and visibility of key metrics, with a key focus on payroll, with the aim of making the best for business decisions.
Ensure high quality processes that can deliver accurate, timely and insightful information in key cost areas.
Ensure high levels of trust in the reporting, communication and forecasting of Selling & Management payroll via the management of robust processes and review.
Hold regular reviews with the Operations team to share information, make decisions and deliver the plan.
Analysis and communication of P&L lines to identify volume, rate and mix drivers to explain and challenge performance.
Identification of Opportunities and Risks with enough notice to influence the outcome
Encourage knowledge sharing across the team & actively seek to support the development of others.
My client will consider those who are part qualified/qualified or qualified by experience. You will have a proven track record in financial analysis with strong financial systems and excel skills. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of commercial acumen.
