Amey Strategic Consulting are leading the Asset Management & Infrastructure market in Data Science and in scaling up digital capability within our client operations, all powered by an amazing collaborative team. With a growing team of 120+ employees, working across our 2 offices, London and Manchester, we continue to catalyse sustainable business change through our four key offerings.

The role

As a Strategic Consultant, you will be responsible for:

Client & Customer Management: Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems (. CRM).
Stakeholder Engagement: Assist with internal stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.
Project Risk and Issue Management: Carry out delegated activities to support identification and evaluation of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project and the design of mitigating solutions.
Operations Delivery: Research, collate, and analyse information as directed to identify key themes and deliver a limited range of standardised documentation or reports to support internal projects and programs (. resourcing dashboards, performance reports, etc.).
Operations Team Management: Coordinate own work effort within the Operations team; ensure own work appropriately supports the operations team, is accurate and meets deadlines.
Builds Interpersonal Trust: Build trust with the members of the Operations team by valuing and acting on the perspectives of those who are different from them while also being honest and authentic about their own values, how they like to get work done, and who they are.
Network of Influence: Demonstrate understanding of the value of networking by participating and contributing in a network of people, technologies, and ideas inside and outside the company.
Building Capability: Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training be successful in the role you will be; very organised and efficient in the way you work; be comfortable talking to team members at all levels; be competent with the MS Office Suite of software; personable and keen to support the team.

In your work you will also be required to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and assurance regulations, to operate according to Amey principles and have a clear understanding of systems and processes.

Data Collection and Analysis: Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analysing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
Action Planning: Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.
Customer-Focused Approach: Works without supervision and provides guidance when required to orient the wider team around delivering to the key needs of their stakeholders.
In-Depth Questioning: Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to explore the depth and breadth of a problem, draw out the implications of not changing, and help clients self-discover and articulate the value of a you're excited by our business, inspired by working with talented, motivated professionals and enthusiastic about contributing from day one, we'd like to talk to you about opportunities in our rapidly growing team.
