Flogas - Fleet Admin Manager

Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 per year

Location - Syston, Leicester

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fleet Admin Manager to join a leading Liquefied Petroleum Gas supplier.

This is your opportunity to join an exciting company who have been providing alternative energy solutions to homes and businesses across Britain for over 35 years. Founded in 1984 we've evolved to become one of Europe's leading LPG suppliers with a presence in Britain, Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Belgium and the Netherlands.

With a fleet of over 600 delivery vehicles it is essential that our fleet operations run safely, legally and with the highest degree of operational efficiency.

In order to support the Head of Fleet in providing the leadership required to deliver the above, we are looking to appoint a highly motivated and capable Fleet Admin Manager to lead and manage the administration of our Fleet Department

Key duties in the role will include;

To provide management of the Fleet Administration Team
To assist in the management of transport compliance in all aspects of vehicle management and in line with regulations and company procedures
To manage the day to day relationship with our car and van suppliers
Driving continuous improvement in performance measures, including:o Adherence to fleet maintenance schedules
o Accuracy of administration procedures
o Legal compliance measures, . Driver CPC

Ensuring effective relationships are maintained between the department and colleagues in other functions (including Sales and Operations Planning, Operations, Customer Experience Centre, and Sales)
Continually and pro-actively reviewing developments and best practice in the industry to identify potential improvements to our Fleet Support procedures and practicesWhat are we looking for from you?


* Experience of working in a Fleet or Transport support role
* Sound understanding of transport legislation, compliance, and regulatory issues
* High level of IT literacy
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, self-starter
* Comfortable with pace and fluidity


* National/International CPC holder
* Experience of Fleet Management
* Operational experience in a Fleet/Logistics/Transport environment
* Continuous Improvement, Lean principles
