Support workers/Youth workers needed in Swanwick

Have you considered transitioning into an education environment? Do you have experience supporting service users with complex needs or challenging behaviour? Are you looking for more structured hours and free weekends?

TimePlan are working with schools around Swanwick that cater to students with special/complex needs and challenging behaviour, and thus require additional support. SEN schools are specially designed to provide each student with the perfect learning environment and aim to equip them with social and working skills for when they leave.

Working within a school, you will be supporting small groups of pupils, or working 1:1 with pupils who require additional support within various subject areas. You will work alongside the class teacher, enhancing pupil's knowledge and increasing their attainment to ensure that No child is left behind. You will be responsible for keeping the pupils engaged in the work and helping with general support and personal care.
