Campaigns Advisor Responsibilities:
Working with the campaigns manager you will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful campaigns which support our members and gather public support for British food and farming. You will need passion and determination to support the industry and have practical experience delivering face to face events.
Campaigns Advisor Requirements:
We are looking for a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced communications department to design, develop and deliver campaigns on behalf of our 50,000 members. To be successful in the role you will need to be able to demonstrate a creative approach, have practical experience of using a variety of digital and print platforms as well as events to promote your campaigns. You will also need experience working across a broad group of policy and political teams to identify opportunities and design campaigning solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and have the necessary buy-in to create real world change.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong experience creating compelling stories and impactful narrative that build awareness of issues through conversion and advocacy. You will also need an eye for detail and strong project management skills to ensure timely delivery of campaigns.
This is an ideal role for someone with at least three years’ experience in industry or an agency who has had responsibility designing and writing content across digital, social and print platforms with experience working in a political environment. A background in journalism would be beneficial but not essential.
Successful applicants will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Location: This role is currently home-based in line with government guidelines (usually based at the NFU’s headquarters in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire).
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Part Time, circa 21 hrs per week (working pattern to be agreed with successful candidate)
Salary: circa £30,000 per annum Pro Rata
