Are you a customer focused and efficient administrator looking for a quick start with a brilliant company?
Our client is a leading logistics and distribution company based in Corby. We are looking for a hard working and organised individual to cover the position of Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis 2pm till 10pm Monday to Friday.
With the required training you will be responsible for customer service, inbound and outbound operations for one of the company's key accounts.

The person we are seeking will be mainly responsible for:

  • Dealing with all the office administration and logistics functions
  • Dealing with stock operations (adjustments/ stock movements)
  • Working as part of a busy team and working to set deadlines based on distribution
  • Maintaining data for invoicing purposes
  • Daily processing of customer orders
  • Printing orders when warehouse request
  • Liaising between the hauliers, suppliers and customers

Essential requirements:

Previous experience in an administration role in the logistics environment an advantage but not essential.

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent PC literacy - MS Excel and MS Word
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Attention to the details
  • Passion for delivering an exception level of customer service
  • The ability to work under pressure and to set deadlines
  • Team player with the initiative to work alone
  • Own transport ideal to ensure ability to get home late at night

Hours are - Mon-Fri
This is a permanent role but you will work through Select to start with through the qualifying period
