Payroll Assistant


£25000 - £30000 per annum


A longstanding leading Accounting firm based in London are looking for a payroll assistant to join their team. This is a mixed role with both payroll and company secretary responsibilities. An amazing opportunity to be part of a fantastic business and are looking for candidates keen to take that next step in their career within a role offering ongoing development

Payroll Assistant key Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • To assist payroll manager with processing of client payroll
  • To be confidant with the processing of P45s, P46s, SMP, SPP, answering tax queries and following months and year end procedures
  • Experience of dealing with high volume payrolls, multiple pay frequencies and pay dates
  • Additionally performing company secretarial duties.
  • Preparing client statements and company house records.
  • Building good client relationships
  • Oversee all client payroll to ensure accuracy

Senior Payroll Administrator/ Account Assistant Person Specification/ Experience:

  • Experience within a client payroll environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Someone happy to work in payroll & other duties
  • Good Team player
  • Experience with SAGE
