Our growing Quality Assurance function is now looking for a Labelling Technician to join the Labelling Compliance department. This team is responsible for reviewing packaging and artwork to ensure the labels reflect items within the products and that they are compliant with relevant Food Labelling legislation. You will work on writing and checking product information as well as reporting on any issues that arise.

What you'll do
Review product labelling / artworks to ensure it is compliant for our customers
Review and understand technical documentation
Liaising with various stakeholders including internal departments such as Branding & Packaging and Buying and also our suppliers
Provide technical labelling advice to stakeholders where required
Keep abreast of changes/ proposed changes to labelling regulatory requirements related to products and processes
Working to strict deadlines
Other ad hoc administrative tasks
What you'll need
Previous experience in product labelling is highly advantageous
Great knowledge of Food Laws; knowledge of Brexit Food labelling requirements is also advantageous
Proactive and driven with a dedicated work ethic
Meticulous eye for detail
Ability to work to strict deadlines
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel
Ability to work under pressure
Willingness to learn
Ability to work in a process driven environment
