Trainee Helpdesk Administrator

Job Description

Due to continued growth, another new & exciting opportunity for a second Trainee Helpdesk Administrators has arisen. This job would be ideal for someone leaving education and wanting to train in a new role, with the drive to progress within the company.

Go-Fix Mechanical & Drainage Services provide drainage, vacuum tanker & other various maintenance services for a broad range of clients in Central London and throughout the South East of England.

As one of our office team you will be expected to deliver a high standard of work with excellent customer services.

The position will be Monday to Friday and hours will be either 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm.

Person Specification

  • Able to prioritise workloads, multitasking is a must as we are a fast-paced reactive helpdesk
  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines and be able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Good communication skills - able to deal with customers on all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft office programs excel, outlook, word
  • The ability to pick up new processes and retain process information
  • Ability to 'be part of a team’ and carry out a variety of tasks
  • The ability to work on own as well as taking direction from others but most importantly to manage their time effectively

Duties

  • Monitoring mailboxes
  • Logging and following up of Emergency call out orders
  • Ensuring all the jobs from evenings and weekends are tied up and dealt with
  • Answering high volume inbound calls and assisting customers with specific inquiries and job bookings
  • Uploading jobs on Big Change work system
  • Update worksheets with changes and statuses of each customer job
  • Managing client portals
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
  • Providing clients with updates on progression of works
  • Providing business support to all areas when required
  • General Office upkeep
  • Arranging parking on the request of engineers
  • Working to tight timescales as part of a high-performing team
  • Any other work as assigned by manager
  • Liaise with engineers to book follow on jobs for customers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £15,-£16, per year

COVID-19 considerations:
We are working in a COVID secure office. All staff are required to take their temperature on arrival and use hand washing facilities and the hand sanitizer provided frequently throughout the day. All staff are required to wear facemasks in the office.
