Specialist Health care Assistant
£11 - £22776 per annum
Permanent (Part time)

This role is for caring for those within their homes, however unlike most domiciliary roles we are proud to offer all of our carers the flexibility to work from 0 hours up to 40 contracted hours a week. Not only that but we'll pay for any travel you have to carry out between visits with each visit having a minimum amount of time to be spent with those you're caring for, no whistle stop visits. We want each person we care for to feel valued, appreciated and truly cared for.
This role will include tasks such as assuming a key worker role for those whom have been released from hospital and are in need of reablement. You may be entering into a scenario where a care plan isn't in place and so you need to create one with our internal assessment team, and ensure that it's adhered to and altered were needed. As well as ensuring that the person you're caring for is given the best opportunity to settle back into their home, this can include tasks such as assisting those that need care with things such as medication, meal preparation, personal care, and help with washing, dressing and toileting. You'll obviously ensure that dignity and personal well-being are at the core of everything that we do and so it's important that we ensure that the people you're caring for are feel as cared for as you or I would want for ourselves or family members. You'll spend time working alone so you'll feel comfortable with understanding care plans and following them.
