Job Title:People Systems Analyst / HRIS Analyst Salary:Competitive with an excellent benefits package Reference number: 1122 Duration:Permanent The People Systems Analyst operates as subject-matter-expert for people-related systems, infrastructure and data.

The role plays a key part in the implementation, adoption and optimization of people-related technology and MI across the business.

Reporting to the Head of People Systems and Infrastructure the role will closely align to the HRIS Transformation Programme to support the deployment of a new hire-to-retire HR solution, alongside BAU delivery, maintenance and support of the existing HR technology estate.

The role will also contribute towards the development and delivery of HRMI, data & reports to the business, as well as supporting wider people-related projects and change initiatives as required.

Key accountabilities HRIS Transformation Programme · Act as People Technology Lead and SME for assigned project workstreams / system modules · Work closely with internal stakeholders, vendor and project Implementation Partner to define detailed requirements and validate design · Act as first point of contact for technical queries from vendor and Implementation Partner.

Where required, communicate technical issues internally using relatable non-technical speak to bring concepts to life and inform decision-making · Contribute to the development of detailed project phase plans, working with colleagues in the People Function to support and drive delivery for assigned workstreams · Contribute to the development of project-related documentation, including progress / status reports and change request proposals · Take a lead role in the development of test plans and test approach documentation · Work with internal SME’s to define test criteria and scripts, ensuring the product is appropriately validated against agreed requirements and configuration · Coordinate test cycles and prepare test completion reports ready for sign-off · Support HR data mapping, cleanse and migration activities for test and go-live phases · Support end-user adoption activities, including focus groups and development of training materials and resources (FAQ’s / how-to-guides) · Support systems go-live activities and decommissioning of legacy technology · Actively contribute to project work-group meetings, deputising for the Head of People Systems & Infrastructure where required · Contribute to the preparation of business cases and sign-off for any future HR technology requirements / projects.

· SME for any new HR technology implementation / development projects HR Systems · HR Systems Super User · Continuously seek ways to optimise and streamline system usage, making recommendations to the HR Mgt Team.

· Lead on delivery of approved system change projects, to include gathering stakeholder requirements, impact assessing proposals, testing and deployment.

· Act as 2 nd line technical escalation for complex HR systems related queries or issues.

· Utilise trend and root cause analysis to diagnose system problems and identify solutions.

Seek relevant Change Mgt governance and track fixes through design, testing and deployment.

· Coordinate system testing and approvals for scheduled upgrades and releases.

Develop and maintain regression test packs · Coordinate Systems User access for HR Systems ensuring relevant controls, approvals and regular audits are in place · Support the People Function and wider business users in the use of HR systems, developing relevant support materials and delivering user training where required · Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of Organisation and Position control structures across HR and wider business systems HR MI & Reporting · Contribute to the development of HR interfaces to downstream systems (Insight / SkillsCast / Everbridge Mass Notification / Active Dir.

etc) and monitor delivery on an ongoing basis, escalating / resolving any issues that may arise · Produce ad-hoc HRMI reports as requested in a timely manner to support business decision making · Contribute to delivery of HR reports covering key HR metrics for dissemination across the business up to board level · Act as Data Steward, contributing to ongoing data integrity audits and coordinating cleanse activities with relevant process owners HR Projects & Processes · In line with the overall HR project roadmap, contribute to development of project plans and successful delivery of assigned projects within area of expertise · Maintain relevant project documentation, ensuring clear, accurate records are maintained and available throughout all phases · On an ongoing basis, identify any risks or issues affecting successful project delivery, escalating to the Head of People Systems & Infrastructure · Working closely with colleagues across the function and wider business to contribute to the ongoing development of HR processes, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose in line with HR best practice and any regulatory or technology changes · Undertake any other tasks commensurate with the role, positively contributing to the achievement of the HR / L&D Strategic plan and Company objectives Knowledge and skills required · ITIL V5 Foundation desirable (or equivalent) · Previous experience working with HR systems in an Analyst / Project basis · Expert knowledge of HR technology and current trends · Experience of HRIS transformation / implementation projects (preferably at Tier-1 level) · In-depth knowledge and experience of technology testing best practice · Ability to work with and interpret HR data · High level of proficiency in MS Office, including Word and advanced Excel (Vlookup, PIVOT, Macro).
