Lead Fundraising Volunteer - Merseyside
Are you looking to gain experience in events planning and management? Or perhaps you're looking to help raise money to support people with a learning disability? Either way, this could be the role for you.
We are looking for Lead Fundraising Volunteers in and around Merseyside to take the reins and lead our new Fundraising Groups to raise money for the Royal Mencap Society and our network partner, Wirral Mencap. You will work with family friends, other contacts and possibly other volunteers from Mencap to organise group meetings and fundraising events. Examples could be organising a pub quiz, a bucket collection at a supermarket or a Mencap Tea Party. Equally, you may want to organise something completely unique!
You will have support from the Area Fundraising Manager who will help you on your way and so you feel well supported throughout the process.
Our new Community Fundraising team work together to raise money and help Mencap to fulfill their vision of creating a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included. We look forward to you becoming a part of this.
To apply, you will first need to register to use the Mencap recruitment system. Once logged in, you will then need to click the "apply" button, and fill in our 1 page application form.
