Position - Youth Support Worker
Location - Cranborne, Dorset
Salary - £13,604 to £14,668 Term time only 38 weeks a year
Hours - 40 hours per week working 8am-- Monday to Friday

About the Service - This is a day and residential further education college supporting young people who may have a diagnosis of Autism, anxiety, social and emotional or mental health needs.
Type of person required - Having worked with vulnerable young people previously, you will have a passion for ensuring this client group progress and learn the skills to be able to live meaningful and independent adult lives. You will understand the values of deescalating challenging or anxious behaviour and be able to build trusting relationships with people at this critical age.
Experience and qualifications - To qualify for the higher hourly pay rate, you will need a Level 3 in Residential Childcare. If not, you need to be willing to work towards this, once you have completed probation. Once completed, you will go on to the higher hourly rate.
