Driven by increasing demand for our services we seek passionate and committed Occupational Therapists to join our team in Australia, sponsored under a Temporary Skills Shortage (TSS) working visa.
As an Occupational Therapist your role would include managing a diverse portfolio of participants and would encompass; Develop, plan and conduct therapy sessions with our participants under the social model of community based service provision – both face to face and online Regularly evaluate progress and outcomes, using relevant measures, and discuss outcomes with participants, family and key stakeholders Prepare full, accurate and timely reports that will assist in future planning and recommendation strategies for participants Identify the facilitators and barriers within a participant's environment (attitudinal, social and physical) with meaningful and impactful goals Interact with a team of therapists to discuss treatment plans, participant progress and outcomes, to draw on the collective knowledge and experience of the team to enable your participants to achieve outcomes To be considered for the opportunity of a lifetime as a member of one of Australia’s leading disability service providers you will need to meet the following criteria; A Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy or another relevant discipline, with a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience Be eligible for Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) registration, current registration with HCPC will also be highly regarded Have a diverse range of clinical experience encompassing; participant facing interaction, conducting reviews, preparing and delivering treatment plans Have a genuine interest in working in a community based care environment A desire to work in a team-based, collaborative environment Everyday Independence recognises that to make even more impact we need highly engaged and happy teams.
