Our clientsare looking to recruit a Sous Chef to jointheir team at this prestigiousresort in oxfordshire,on a full time basis working 45 hours per week.

  • You will be supporting the kitchen in all areas oftheir operation including restaurant and bar food, conferences, weddings and afternoon tea.

  • The ideal candidate is a capable chef who can work well under pressure and as part of a team.They are looking for an ambitious chef with excellent cooking and management skills. This might be your first Sous Chef role. Training and developing you will be paramount to deliver the culinary vision. Kitchen management and hygiene must be as important as the food on the plate, this is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate.

  • You will be working 5 out of 7 days per week and rotas include regular evening and weekend work.

  • Requirements of the role:

  • - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a 4\* hotel kitchen
    - Banquets up to 200
    - Restaurant meals up to 100
    - Rosette, al a carte experience
    - Pro-active and flexible approach to work duties
    - Good team player
    - Willingness to learn and develop
