The BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital is a well-equipped hospital providing healthcare across a number of specialities. The hospital has a range of outpatient services, 2 operating theatres, imaging facilities, a JAG Accredited Endoscopy Unit and an enhanced recovery unit. These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services; enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of investigations and operations. Consultants have the support of caring and highly trained nursing and allied healthcare professionals as well as access to some of the latest technology and equipment. With a team of resident medical officers available 24hours a day, the hospital provides an ideal environment for excellent clinical care and patient recovery.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed Lead Theatre Practitioner or ODP to join our fantastic team of staff in our Operating Theatre department.

The successful candidate will put patient care at the heart of everything they do. As a qualified practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration you will use your skills and knowledge to work well within a team, adopting a flexible and collaborative approach at all times. Whether your background is in Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery you will be keen to learn and develop new skills to further grow your career.

Candidate must be experienced in theatre environment and ensure they can scrub across a variety of specialities.

This is a full time post and there is a flexible shift pattern in place.
