Job DescriptionAt Drax, our purpose is to enable a zero carbon, lower cost energy future. Our IT function is dedicated to helping Drax operate at the forefront of the energy industry. You'll be the link between the business and IT, using a deep understanding of business processes and technology to ensure outcomes are achieved. We're committed to hybrid working, so you'll have the flexibility to split your time between home and one of our offices. Collaborating with multiple business areas, you'll have the ability to work closely with stakeholders at all levels. Your role will involve identifying unarticulated business needs and coordinating between stakeholder groups to address them. You'll be providing consultative support on business-led technology initiatives, creating prototypes and codesigning innovative solutions, as well as proactively monitoring trends. It's an opportunity to lead requirements analysis on more complex projects, building strong relationships with senior business stakeholders to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which applications and solutions are role will also involve supporting, mentoring and coaching junior team members, whilst promoting best practice analysis. A self-starter, you'll enjoy being hands on with a wide range of business processes and functions. In addition to a strong background in Business Analysis, you'll need broad IT domain experience in some of the following: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and/ or Maintenance and Support.
