My clients in West London have an immediate requirement for a Recruitment Assistant - Sensors / Engineering.

This role is commutable from Slough, Staines, Uxbridge, Richmond, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Egham, Chertsey.

My clients are a world leader in Vision, Measurement, Sensors, Safety and Microscopes. They have experienced rapid growth and are now turning over more than $4 billion global sales per year. They have been repeatedly short-listed on the Forbes list for the most innovative companies in the world for several years and have over 250,000 clients worldwide, including blue chip manufacturers.

They provide a 4 - 8 week training programme which aims to give you a strong technical understanding of their products. However, this is only the start of your continued training and development which will take place throughout your career!

About the role:
As a member of the Recruitment Team, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of activities and processes throughout the recruitment lifecycle to find and recruit the best talent for the business, mainly focusing on but not limited to the below responsibilities:
-CV screening.
-Interview/assessment day facilitation.
-1st stage, online interview evaluation.
-Face to face interviewing.
-Attending careers fairs and being an ambassador of the company.
-Support University campus recruitment planning, work with career centres to manage campus recruiting logistics, organise events and ship materials.
-Recruitment database administration.
-Candidate feedback.
-Managing job postings and assembling interview documents.
-Helping to maintain applicant tracking data.
-Managing the recruiting inbox and responding to candidate enquires.
-Travel to other regional offices on occasion (Northern England, Midlands, Ireland)

The desired candidate for the role will have the following attributes:
-Able to establish and maintain professional interpersonal relationships.
-Ability to accurately document, record and maintain information and data.
-Ability to work with high self-direction and flexibility, especially with respect to taking initiative, prioritising multiple tasks, and using good judgment to resolve problems.
-Enjoy working in a target driven environment.
-'Can do' attitude, with a methodical approach to work and strong prioritisation skills.
-Team player.
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Integrity - the role requires appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive information.

Qualifications and Experience:
-Educated to bachelors degree level (STEM subject ideal) or with equivalent experience.
-Good knowledge of Microsoft-based applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
-Experience in recruitment would be beneficial, but not essential.
-Must be eligible to work in the UK.


  • Basic Minimum Starting Salary £25-28K.
