What you will do
We are looking to strengthen our Finance Team in the UK by hiring a professional who will be the focal point within the team of assigned Line of Business. You will be providing the leadership to the local Branch Managers as well be responsible for maintain a strong control environment and the quality of the financial reporting, both internal and external.

How you will do it

Acts as a Finance business partner providing mentoring in finance policies & processes. Supports and contributes to the design and implementation of key decisions & projects through pro-actively advising and engaging with the assigned Line of Business leadership team on all Finance matters. Performs business analysis and ensure proper support of local Branch Managers.
Provides input and collaborates with other business and/or support departments in the deployment of strategic business transformations or simplification programs to optimize current business and Finance processes and tools.
Leads Planning and Forecasting process to ensure regional and Branch plans translate into a sound Financial Plan. Ensure accurate control of business plans and performance through reviews (regional and local level), set benchmarking, backlog & pre-bid reviews, cash flow analysis, receivable and performance reviews.
Makes good judgments on Finance priorities and advise/promote optimally towards the business leaders
Translates business requirements into Finance strategy
Ensures financial reports, metrics and analysis are provided. Timely deals with any standard and ad-hoc Finance information requests.
Ensures accurate internal controls are in place and company policies are followed. Responsible for application of DOA. Ensure Delegation of Authority (DOA) compliance by all Branches. Exhibit and promote the highest level of ethics on conducting and supporting business transaction.
Drive TWC improvement and cash-flow management. Advise on short term and long term working capital improvements and drive process optimization leading to balanced improvements.

Qualifications

What we look for
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
Extensive experience in all aspects of business control like budgeting process, reporting and controlling
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
Proven record of strong analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with problemsolving capabilities
Ability to support and control financial results in a multi-location field operation
Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
Willingness to travel (locally)

Preferred

Previous experience from large multinational company
Familiarity with project business and backlog reviews
Familiarity with Hyperion, Oracle and ServiceMax
Experience in post-merger integration
