We are looking for a positive and outgoing Learning Support Assistant to work in a brilliant SEN school that caters for students aged 418. The pupils you will be working with have a range of learning difficulties including Autism, Epilepsy and other neurological conditions. This is a great opportunity to get fully involved in an interactive and practical curriculum and ensure your students are able to become confident and independent individuals.
This fantastic school is based in North Wales and has both longterm and permanent positions available.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting students during class by tracking their progress
Liaising with class teacher to lessons run smoothly
Enabling learners to access the curriculum
Supporting the pastoral needs of the learners
Being an active part in creating a positive learning environment
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and part of a small group in a range of activities through out the day
Using your interests to engage learners in learning
Supporting with the students personal care
Key skills and experience needed:
Experience working with people with special needs
Be able to work with learners that have various learning difficulties including epilepsy and autism
Have an understanding of students with emotional needs
Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team.
Be flexible in your approach to education.
Own means of transport is essential
