Business Development Manager Up to £50,000 plus benefits including a company car Manchester city centre Office based with frequent travel

Coop franchise is a new route to market for the Coop and we have ambitious expansion plans. Were looking for a business development manager to join the New Channels team within food to help grow and develop our Coop franchise store estate.

In this role youll deliver the franchise strategy by managing and developing new leads from initial enquiry to developing a franchise proposal, agreeing a business plan and contract signature. This is an exciting opportunity to make a big impact on the growth and commercial performance of Coop.

As a business development manager youll:

seek out new franchise opportunities, developing strong trusting relationships to build the credibility of Coop preparing business cases getting buyin from franchisees and Coop teams accelerate the flow of franchise opportunities through the pipeline process analyse data from a variety of sources, drawing insights to inform effective decision making work cross functionally with colleagues and external business partners, through strong leadership and collaboration to meet business objectives

This role would suit people who have:

experience in and a passion for retail, preferably with franchise experience excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently sell the benefits of the Coop and the franchise model to prospective franchisees a background in sales or business development, with good knowledge of profit and loss the ability to adapt to change in a fastpaced environment an analytical mindset and experience working with data
