The Salvation Army in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (UKI) Territory is both a Church and a Charity whose mission is to bring people to Christ and provide social welfare services.

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for delivering the migration of data to SharePoint Online for The Salvation Army in the UK & Ireland (UKI) Territory.

The IT Project Manager will work with stakeholders throughout The Salvation Army to understand requirements, develop plans and deliver changes. They will communicate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the process and technical changes.

The UKI Territory has adopted industry standard project and programme management methodologies and expects IT and IT-related projects to follow PRINCE 2 project management methodology guidelines.

The IT Project Manager will need:

Good experience and demonstrable success in managing projects of the migration of data to SharePoint Online, delivering them to agreed time, cost and quality criteria
Significant experience of producing and maintaining project management documentation including project plans, RAID registers, and project status reports
Proven ability to communicate difficult or complex ideas clearly, often to multiple stakeholder audiences
Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and meetings
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills and political awareness
Ability to work both as part of a team and pro-actively on own initiative
A recognised Project Management qualification such as Prince II
Excellent communication skills (written and oral English)
A positive, 'can-do', and flexible attitude

This is a permanent position based at our Headquarters currently at 101 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BN. Applications for remote working would be considered.
