A successful Software house with an enviable client portfolio and list of accreditations and partnerships have engaged the services of Hurren & Hope to assist them with the appointment of a seasoned Sales Manager / Director. As a newly created role for the company, you can expect to not only provide strategic direction to the companies service offering and Sales pipeline but also play the part of Ambassador to the organisation. This role will in the early stages of its growth bridge the gap between Sales Manager and Sales Director.
Software Consultancy is 100% about levels of service and delivery with the need for an effective initial brief and clear direction paramount. effective communication is key and a means of engaging with end customers effectively conveying what you as a company offer is essential to a successful sales strategy. With no fixed specification or off the shelf product on offer your ultimately as good as your colleagues and the processes within the company.

Shortlisted applicants will clearly display experience in building a sales funnel, to include margin control, Contract management, negotiation and ultimately a track record of successfully closing new business within digital (think API and fullstack development here not basic websites) Software consultancy or a Software house environment. experience gained from within StartUps and SMEs would be advantageous but not a mandatory requirement for the role.
Your exposure will also include management of Sales teams where you have shown clear leadership and direction to produce a cohesive sales strategy. Character is vital in roles of this nature and will play a big part in the recruitment process. Energy, tenacity, effective communication and the ability to drive a successful outcome starts with the individual, tools, experience, and training hone those traits but ultimately core values that align with the business and this newly created post will be the foundation stone of your success.
