Do you have experience supporting adults and/or children who have challenging behaviour, social, emotional or mental health needs?
Are you looking for a new challenge supporting children and young people unable to access mainstream education?
The school supports pupils who are unable to attend mainstream education, often for reasons relating to behaviour, social anxiety and mental health difficulties.
The pupils can be reluctance to engage, so it is essential the ideal Learning Mentor is creative, resourceful and ready to get stuck in!
If you have experience utilising behaviour management in a school environment, or have experience in youth work or residential support, and feel you could contribute to the school, please get in touch,
- An empathetic and flexible support style
- Experience in youth work, sports coaching or similar
- Team Teach (behaviour management training) is desirable however training is available
