An excellent opportunity has arisen with an international business on the outskirts of Exeter. This is a permanent role, which involves taking responsibility for the checking and analysis of payroll items and responding to all payroll related queries.

  • Whilst working for a large employer this position is based within a small finance team, who work alongside the wider finance department. This role is ideal for someone with on the job payroll experience and working to deadlines.

The role includes:

Enter day to day data into payroll database.
Calculations for adjustments, including, overpayments, holiday pay, maternity/paternity and sickness.
Taking ownership of a specific pay group or pay groups.
Answering queries by email, phone and face to face.
Support and cover workload for other payroll coordinators during periods of holiday or absence.
Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll matters.

Essential skills and qualifications
Answering queries by email, phone and face to face.
Support and cover workload for other payroll coordinators during periods of holiday or absence.
Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers regarding payroll matters.
Advanced user of Excel, word and outlook.
