Sales Ledger Clerk (part-time) - £24,000 pro rata (21 hrs/week) + Benefits - London, UK

The Role

At EIC, we are looking for a capable Sales Ledger Clerk to assist in the management of our accounting system, with emphasis on managing the CRM database dealing with our Overseas Exhibitions and Trade Delegations program, ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of financial information. The key responsibilities of a Sales Ledger Clerk include, but are not limited to:

  • Looking after our CRM system for all Finance needs
  • Setting up of products and pricing relating to exhibitions and trade delegations
  • Processing of exhibitor bookings
  • Performing credit control for all outstanding payments from exhibitors and trade delegates
  • Raising sales invoices for all EIC events
  • Taking control of credit card payments
  • Preparing accounts for our Overseas offices on a quarterly basis
  • Helping with the month-end procedures
  • Working alongside the Finance team, help with the yearly budget and year-end procedures

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Sales Ledger Clerk:

  • Experience in using Sage Line 50 and Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel
  • A team player, able to collaborate with non-finance as well as finance specialist colleagues
  • First-rate analytical skills, paying close attention to detail in every aspect of work
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, able to work to tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM will be advantageous
