Work closely with the Senior Credit Risk Manager to manage the performance of a growing lending portfolio through data and analytics. In a tightknit, familyfeel business, youll be responsible for monitoring and optimising the performance of the loans portfolio. Working across the lifecycle, using SAS and SQL to analyse large datasets and drive insight into customer Acquisitions and Underwriting, Portfolio Analysis and Collections.

Its the chance to come in and steward an exciting new portfolio with big growth plans. Youll be able to have a huge impact here by developing lending strategies on the back of your data analysis. Its also about delivering choices to customers through analytics, optimising crosssell propositions and an exciting product proposition!

  • Grow an exciting Loans portfolio in a fast paced environment where everything is being developed from scratch
  • Optimise new and existing customer credit decisions, helping shape strategies that add value to the business and their customers (its very customer focused)
  • Analyse large data sets using SAS, SQL, to find trends, forecast performance and provide Credit Risk insights
  • Investigate and make recommendations on the development of strategies, scorecards and policies
  • Ownership over Credit Risk MI and Reporting using SAS, SQL
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and adopt a collaborative way of working across functions


  • Experience working in an analytical role in Credit Risk or a related function
  • Skilled in the use of SAS, SQL or similar tools (youll be using these daily)
  • Ideally with experience deriving insights from data and driving the development of business strategies e.g Credit Risk, Fraud, Marketing, Digital etc
  • Educated to degree level (as a minimum) in a numerate subject


  • Up to £50,000 dependant on experience
  • Work in a highly motivated, highly analytical team balanced in an informal environment
