Customer Service Advisor

Location: Hampshire, Basingstoke

Salary: £16,000 £18,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday (09:0017:30) 37.5 Hours

My client is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Advisor with some exposure to sales or upselling to be the one point of contact throughout the customers journey which involves understanding the customers needs and in turn improving the customers experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain excellent customer service and communication standards at all times.
  • Resolve any issues and complaints from the client.
  • Maximise sales opportunities with the ability to up sell products and services to the customer.
  • Consistently working to company and legal standards when processing documentation.
  • Dealing with all administrative enquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurately checked before processing.
  • Take part in team meetings and briefings when planned.

Key Requirements:

  • You must be customer centric, create a great customer experience with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Enthusiastic and self motivated with a positive approach to your work.
  • PC literate with knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels of the business.
  • Highly organised with the ability to monitor and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent time management, with ability to work well under pressure and prioritise to meet set deadlines
  • Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party to confidential information.
