Compliance Manager

  • Role Objectives

  • Providing a quality service to senior management
    Help to achieve company targets by monitoring staff activity
    Adapt any new procedures/ practices introduced

  • The Ideal candidate

  • MUST have compliance experience/ worked within a regulated environment
    HR experience advantageous but not essential
    Financial services/ insurance background advantageous
    Someone who can bring in new ideas
    Peoples person with excellent communication skills
    Can work well under pressure
    Highly organised
    Strong administrative skills

  • The Role

  • Maintaining uptodate knowledge of relevant compliance regulations
    Ensuring all staff are trained in compliant procedures
    Maintaining uptodate knowledge of Health and Safety laws and organising safety checks
    Checking terms of business agreements
    Ensuring good order and a clear record/audit trail on all files and records
    Undertaking projects requested by management
    Complaint management
    Quality assurance of documents and calls
    Completing MI Reports/ GAP analysis
    Approving marketing documents making sure they comply with FCA guideline
    Assisting with HR issues sickness/absences, holidays, disciplinary and grievance issues
    Arranging delivery of training needs and costs
    Under taking and monitoring staff appraisals
    Developing good relationships internally and externally
    Planning work loads to achieve short term objectives and performance targets
    Assisting with recruiting new members of staff
    Writing and editing internal policies
