BTL Communication provided businesses with bespoke IT and telecoms products and services, due to their ongoing success and growth they are now looking to source new talent to complement their existing workforce.
Based in Bracknell, Berkshire, you'll be involved in with the provision of new services and also resolving faults with services.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
- £9,984 per annum
- Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm (1 hour lunch break)
- Bonus upon completion
There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may progress to a Level 4 programme, and take your training even further.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be fully supported by an organization that has placed more than fifteen apprentices in the last six years.
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provision of new services including web hosting, ASDL connections, VPN networks, telephone lines and mobile services.
- Resolving faults on the above services using remote tools, supplier portals and defined processes.
- Researching projects from time to time to source alternative suppliers or products.
- Liaising with suppliers as and when required.
Full support and guidance will be provided by both the employer and training provider throughout the apprenticeship.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Passion for IT
- Good knowledge of software and hardware
- 5 GCSE's at Grade A-C including Maths and English
- Good telephone manner
- Good problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and desire to learn new skills on a daily basis
