Due to gap in staffing, Teaching Personnel are looking for a teacher of Maths to join our client school located in South Manchester. The successful Maths teacher will join our client school in September and will be required for the first term in the first initially, with the potential to continue throughout the remainder of the academic year. This role would be suited to experienced teachers looking for a new challenge or a Newly Qualified Teacher looking to develop their professional practice.
The successful teacher will plan and teach high quality lessons to support students in making good progress throughout the academic year. They will have experience in delivering lessons at KS3 and KS4 and will be able to differentiate lessons to suit all learning abilities. We are looking for a teacher who is able to manage behaviour effectively in line with the schools behaviour policy whilst forming positive relationships with students and staff across the school.
The successful Maths teacher will join a thriving secondary school with over 800 pupils on roll. In recent years, the school has become the local secondary provider of choice and has been on an amazing journey to improve education for all of their students. The school recently received an excellent Ofsted which commented on its 'Outstanding' features for teaching and pastoral support.
Our client school is located in the Wythenshawe area of South Manchester and is a short drive from the city centre and surrounding areas. The school is easily accessible via public transport links and also has a large car park accessible for all staff members.
