A British engineering company who manufacture a range injection moulded component for market leading brands, are seeking two Maintenance Engineers to join their Maintenance team. You will support the production team with maintaining mould shop equipment and have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • **Commutable from: Bicester, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Towcester, Aylesbury, Oxford, Banbury, Northampton, Dunstable

  • Salary: £ 28,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + Pension + Benefits

  • The Role**

  • As a Maintenance Engineer, you will;

  • Provide hands on technical support and assistance on electrical and mechanical faults with a range of plant equipment and production machinery, including installation, commissioning, fault finding and de-commissioning.

  • Working on a range of machinery injection moulding machines, feeding systems such as conveyors with mechanical repairs and electrical fault finding.

  • Problem solving and providing fast resolutions to equipment and plant equipment malfunctions, fault finding and repairing with a practical, efficient approach carrying out refurbishments as required.

  • Develop and implement planned maintenance of Jigs, Fixtures, Plant and other equipment to minimise downtime in the production department

  • Support the integration of new plant and equipment into production.

  • Train operators in the safe operation of equipment safely and efficiently to ensure full utilisation levels, minimise waste.

  • Develop and maintain plant process and efficiency through continuous improvement activities and the 5S approach.

  • Keep spares stock organised.

  • Permanent days shift (8-6) Monday to Friday.

The Person

  • A Maintenance Engineer with;

  • A time served apprenticeship or relevant Electrical or mechanical Engineering qualification

  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Experience fault finding on automated production machinery such as PLCs and/or robots desirable but not require

  • Experience with Plastic injection moulding or plastic processing equipment desirable
