Patent Administrator Law firm Central Bath

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Patent Administrator on a permanent fulltime basis within a leading Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys in Bath. The key to this role is providing an efficient and effective service to attorneys on a daily basis.

Patent Administrator duties include:

  • Revising documents and tailoring them to individual cases
  • Formalities relating to patent and trade mark procedures, including preparation of forms and documents for filing at Intellectual Property Offices
  • Coordination of formal procedures relating to the grant of patents
  • Maintenance of paper and electronic files and producing schedules for clients
  • Diary management and liaising with the firms central records department
  • Preparation of charges, typing invoices, and liaising with the accounts department
  • Correspondence with clients and Intellectual Property Offices
  • Developing the skills and knowledge to remain up to date with internal and external technological changes

Patent Administrator Key Skills:

  • Must have excellent IT Skills
  • Team player
  • Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience working with Patents
  • Use own initiative whilst in a pressurised environment
