They take on a range of different contracts ranging from housing to commercial developments usually in the region of £500,000 to £.
The Role & Responsibilities: •Management of a commercial department of front-line staff ensuring maximum efficiency and high levels of productivity are maintained.
•Overseeing day-to-day operations and focusing on the long-term interests of the business.
•Resolving issues with contracts and commercial operations •Holding and preparing for team meetings •Monitoring costs to ensure budgets.
•Check-in with live sites to ensure all is running correctly.
•Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
•Negotiating costs and prices.
•Overseeing applications for Payment.
•Preparing turnover and profit forecasts.
•Coaches employees on best practices for managing contract issues and handling daily issues and tasks •Performance Management Essential skills & experience: •A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial department •Works efficiently and calmly tight deadlines or other stress factors arise •Knowledge of brickwork is essential.
•You will be highly motivated, have a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise efficiently and be reliable.
