You will have the opportunity to market the full range of AutoProtect products to our franchised dealers from both an existing client and new business perspective, so that AutoProtect margins and sales volumes are kept on track with business expectations by ensuring AutoProtect clients get focused support and sales development via consultancy based activity.

Our Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic person that has a track record of utilising a consultancy based business development approach, with a track record of supporting product sales performance improvement alongside our partners and within their business. This field based role encompasses both account development and an element of new business.

You will be ensuring the AutoProtect philosophy and values are at the centre of all interactions. This will be achieved by Identifying new business opportunities both in terms of cross selling to existing clients and recognising and new client opportunities. There will be general account management of our major accounts and being the key contact for clients within an area of responsibility. Account management is key with timely completion of required visits and training reports to ensure all CRM reporting requirements are completed in a timely manner. You will need to plan and deliver new business presentations to support tender opportunities. You will need to provide training to existing clients including product, sales techniques and systems training. You will need to discuss promotional and sales development with clients offering help and advice. You will review loss ratios with retailer management and agree action plans to resolve high loss ratios where needed. This is achieved by understanding all aspects of insurance product regulations for FCA requirements. This will ensure dealers are aware of FCA and internal compliance requirements. You will then complete any training required in order to be competent and compliant in line with regulation.
