Hours: Full Time

Shift Pattern - 5 days out of 7 working between the hours of 8am 6pm Monday to Friday.

This is an exciting time to join Virgin Media Business as a Customer Service Advisor in either our Customer Care or Billings team. We’re pushing back the frontiers of business, enabling deals, sparking big ideas and connecting great people. The role

You will provide a highly skilled telephone-based support function for our customers, specifically small & medium enterprises & small and home office customers.

Quite simply, you will be tasked with ensuring the dedicated customer service related needs of these customer sectors are met, promoting a simply brilliant approach to customer service and ensuring customer loyalty. Joining our customer care or billing team, the methods of communicating with our customers can be varied; be it handling inbound calls, answering emails, or communicating over social media channels, you will dazzle our customers with your amazing communication skills.

You will act as a single point of contact for our customers, offering solutions, billing advice and even suggesting tariff changes where it suits the customer best. Delivering amazing service, looking for sales opportunities and retaining customers at every point of contact.

To ensure we set you up for success you will initially join a 2-week induction to welcome you to Virgin Media Business. We’ll give you full classroom training on our products, services and ways of working and that’s just the beginning. Once you are in your role you will receive ongoing coaching and one to one development; it really is a supportive environment.

Who we’re looking for

As the face of the company, you’ll need to have the ability to build rapport, overcome objections and question our customers effectively in order to solve their complex queries. So, it’s really important that you have excellent written and verbal communication skills. It’s also important that you are not fazed by working towards KPI’s and you need to have a good basic knowledge of computers to help navigate our multiple systems; which we will of course train you on.

Whilst experience within a customer service role is ideal, it’s not as essential as finding someone who will always look to do right by our customers and deliver an amazing customer experience. Show us your passion and we will work with you to establish which of the teams, Customer Care or Billing, will put you on the path to success.
