Project Manager

£40000 - £55000 per annum


My client has a fantastic opportunity for a project manager to add to their success in the Manchester office. On a daily basis you will offer assistance on a variety of groundbreaking projects across the Commercial, Health and Education sectors in the region.

  • You will offer strategic advice throughout the whole life cycle of the project until delivery, so the task at hand will test your project management skills to the full extent. My client offers development and learning activities along with constant progression with your career which can mean big things.

  • Job Objectives:

  • Business development
    Guarantee that all the clients objectives/standards are met, on time and within budget.
    Financial management of own commissions
    Offer guidance on key project management commission, while leading a part of service delivery
    Management of commissions belonging to you (Financial)
    Making sure the contracts are prepared for commissions and they comply with the risk management policies

  • Requirements:

  • Have a graduate degree in a related construction project management discipline
    Professionally qualified in either Project Management, Construction, Surveying, Engineering or Architecture

  • Key Knowledge and Experience:

  • Full understanding of the full project life cycle from tackling any issues at the initiation stage right through to completion/project review
    Fantastic experience and knowledge of every project management tool, concepts and techniques
    History of leading medium to large sized public sector construction projects (Health and Education) with varying complexities.
    Fantastic knowledge of various technical matters like value management, procurement routes and value engineering.
    History of managing teams to deliver projects
    Comfortable when managing the financial side of the project
    History of leading design teams (Multidiscipline)
    History of administering contracts (construction related) including JCT roles like Contract Administrator or Employers Agent
    History of Business Development with existing clients and new clients

  • Wage on offer £40,000 £55,000 D.O.E
