We are currentlyrecruiting for a Group HR Advisor to provide a high level of generalist HRservices to the business, namely managing the employee-employer relationshipthroughout the employee lifecycle. The HR Advisor is the first point of contactand front of house person to answer staff and manager queries.

KeyResponsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Take a lead role inestablishing an excellent transactional HR service to the business;

  • Manage the accuracyof the HRIS system, always updating in response to changes to preserve itsintegrity, whilst using the system to the full scope of its functionality;

  • Manage the accuracyand relevance of the Staff Handbook, ensuring all policies and procedures arefit for purpose and in line with UK statute, the ACAS Code of Conduct, and UKBest Practices;

  • Provide Financewith an accurate and timely Payroll Anomaly Report each month capturing allchanges and anomalies so that employees receive their correct pay;

  • Manage, and takepart in, the first stage grievance and disciplinary activities, ensuring thatthe statutory procedures are followed precisely, whilst offering coaching andsupport to stakeholders and managers who are involved in the process;

  • Monitor and reporton all aspects of the absence procedures, ensuring the Company executes itsDuty of Care responsibilities, Return To Work meetings, and that absence ismanaged appropriately on a case by case basis;

  • Coach and adviseboth staff and Managers on any of the Company policies and procedures asrequired;

  • Manage theOnboarding and New Starter processes to ensure a seamless and excellentexperience from the point of hire to starting employment with iamproperty;

  • Manage the Leaverprocesses ensuring that all the correct actions and notifications have beencarried out, involving managers and stakeholders as appropriate, includingperforming Exit Interviews with all leavers, regardless of whether it ispositive or negative attrition;

  • Manage Maternity,Paternity, Adoption and Shared Parental Leave scenarios with staff and theirManagers so that the Company processes and statutory procedures are followed,whilst balancing the needs of the business with the individuals statutoryrights;

  • Manage theProbationary Process, providing Managers with guidance and prompts to ensureeach new starter has a robust and meaningful probationary period that sets themup for success;

  • Manage the benefitsprovision for the Company, including managing supplier relationships, staffmembership, communications and renewals of policies, monitoring uptake ratesand costs;

  • Assist the Head ofPeople with employee engagement activities;

  • Operate as agenuine team player within the HR team, sharing best practices, information andsynergies where appropriate;

  • Provide cover,where necessary for the Learning and Development Business Partner andRecruitment Business Partner during holidays or other leave of absence;

  • Assist the Head ofPeople with the execution of the People Strategy;

  • Track and maintainuseful data and feedback that will/can be used for reporting purposes;

  • Maintain an up todate working knowledge of the latest changes with UK employment law and bestpractices.

PersonSpecification: Key Skills and Experience

  • Educated touniversity degree level or above

  • Graduate Member ofthe Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development

  • Completed CIPD orequivalent qualification in Personnel Practices

  • 5 years+ experiencein an HR Generalist role

  • 5 years+ experienceof working within an HR team

  • Attention to detailto ensure accuracy of documents, data inputting e.g. contract of employment,letters, HRIS system

  • Highly organised,with the ability to receive information from multiple channels and respondaccordingly without fail

  • Adaptable andflexible, with the ability to juggle multiple different tasks at the same time

  • Team player, andwillingness to cover for other roles within the HR department

  • Excellentstakeholder management skills

  • Confidentiality isessential

  • Ability to workcompetently with colleagues at all levels of the business

  • Dedicated to addingvalue to the business via the HR function
