KS1 - KS2 Teaching Assistant Job, September 2021, East London
Hays Education is looking to recruit KS1-KS2 Teaching Assistants in diverse Primary Schools. These schools are based in the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham, Braking & Dagenham, Redbridge. The roles start on September 2021 for the new academic year. The salary is between £ and £ per hour.
About the Role:
As the new academic year will be coming quickly, schools are eager to recruit experienced and passionate teaching assistants with the ability to create an enjoyable learning environment and support pupils across KS1-KS2 effectively. You will be supporting children on a group, 1:1 basis or as a whole class. You will be required to work closely with class teachers and the SENCo in the tailoring of class lessons to ensure that the key children you are assigned to are supported and educated most effectively.
Proven track record working in a Primary school in UK
Support the pupils academically across the KS1 and KS2 National
Provide extra support and care to pupils with Special Education Needs
1:1 basis for students requiring extra language and academic support
Familiar with learning development techniques, . PECS, Makaton, Visual Timetables, Colourful Semantics
Strong communication skills and building rapport with children
Confident with the UK National Curriculum
Hold an Enhanced DBS dated in the last 3 years
